A FLOODED PARK
Jefferson Davis Park was slowly disappearing when I captured this image on May 4, 2011.

LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN FLOODED BY THE MISSISSIPPII RIVER
The River Walk exhibit ends in a large pool of water meant to represent Lake Pontchartrain. Notice that it is flooded as well as the refreshment stand. But I am happy to see the Swan Boats are still tethered.
